Disable Java Updates Problem

For a few weeks whenever I restart my computer a Java Update popup comes up. This is very annoying as it bubbles up from tray icon "Java Update Available" or it asks me for administrative privileges before installing.

Then I click on the setting from tray icon and check what are the options. Believe it or not, there is no automatic update without asking me?! It will notify me either Before downloading or Before installing in an annoying way.

After these options I opt out the Check for Updates Automatically functionality. Guess what? When I restart my computer it is checked again!

Eventually I found the executable for this which is located here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javacpl.exe". Just right click on it and run as administrator. Switch to "Update" tab and uncheck Check for Updates Automatically checkbox. Yes now it does not bother me with popups, and I can update it whenever I want.
