This device is not registered as part of the iphone developer program.

Yesterday I woke up with this error on my iPad !

This device is not registered as part of the iphone developer program.

Here are the steps that I have taken to fix this issue;

1. Download Xcode 4.2 (either for Lion or Snow Leopard)
2. Check Xcode>Window>Organizer to see you have an active(not expired) provisioning profile.
2.a. If you don't have an active provisioning profile create one.
3. Download iTunes 10.5.1b3 and try to restore your iPad.
4. iTunes will download the software update and automatically install it to your iPad.
5. Login from your iPad and your iOS 5 is activated.
6. Now you can deploy to your iOS 5 with your active(not expired) provisioning profile.

* I also deleted all the previous devices from my developer account and added the devices one by one, but I am not sure this is required or not for the above process.

Happy coding ...
